Florida Division on Career Development and Transition Award Nominations
2014
The Florida Division on Career Development and Transition will recognize, from across the State of Florida, five (5) individuals, organizations, businesses, or agencies who are “Making a Difference” in supporting the successful transition of persons with disabilities from school to post-school.
Nominations are being accepted for someone who exemplifies the best in working on behalf of individuals with disabilities in the area or transition. An administrator who supports transition programs in their school, an educator who exhibits excellence in transition related instruction, a student who represents successful transition, a business partner who works closely with the educational entities to provide career and employment services, community organizations/agencies who work collaboratively to improve existing programs and services for individuals with disabilities in transition are eligible to be nominated.
Award winners will receive paid Visions conference registration (April 30 –May 2, 2014), invitation to the FDCDT Visions Conference Awards Luncheon (May 1, 2014), at which time they will be presented with an award plaque and receive a complimentary lunch, which can also include immediate family members.
Please take the time to nominate a deserving administrator, educator, business partner, program director, agency representative or student who has “Made a Difference” in assisting persons with disabilities in transitioning successfully from school to post-school.
